About Us

The Baylor University Men’s Choir has brought joy and musical excellence to Baylor’s campus since 1895. The choir of over 70 men represents diverse majors, states, and countries. On campus, the choir performs for Family Weekend, University Chapel, and A Baylor Christmas, as well as concerts in the fall and spring. Serving the local community is paramount to the choir’s mission – the BUMC sings at an elementary school every Christmas, performs in a nearby prison, and hosts several events for high school choir men from around Texas. On a global scale, the group maintains a strong commitment to international missions, with recent tours to Kenya and Argentina, performing songs in the native language.

We sing around the state of Texas mostly, though sometimes we venture into Oklahoma. Look for a location near you that we are visiting soon.

Our members come from all over campus and all over the world. You’ll find music, biology, and digital media majors among our ranks, just to name a few.

We sing a variety of new pieces each year from many time periods reaching all emotions, along with a few Baylor Men’s Choir classics we’ll never forget.
